the code the onboard computer throws is not always the exact problem, but in the general area.
Good tool to help you from getting ripped off by the dealers when they have your check engine light come on because you need an oil change. In order of dislike....lawyer, politician, over priced vets, car dealer.....
Got this from Amazon.com for $19 w/free shipping about a month ago. My 08 Durango was throwing a code, Adv Auto gave me the code for free, bought a new gas cap but code didn't clear. Bought this, read code and cleared, Now all OK. Worth it.
Solid price. You will pay nearly 2x for similar at HarborFreight.
