You might want to check out craigslist. I just got a rig for $100. generic alu case, evga 68i mobo, evga 8600 GT SC 512 meg video card, 8 gigs of ram, Antec 850 Quattro PSU, 320 gig Seagate HD, and Q6600. a lot of folks are either getting rid of their old rig/parts.
All power units are the same. They are all of equal quality. They are all made in two factories in China. They blow a whistle and the new shift changes the packaging. Anyone that thinks the more expensive ones are better is an rodeo cowboy.
I know this because I am MS Certified which is better then being an electrical engineer these days.
I am MS Certified which is a huge accomplishment vs. the dumbed down standards it now takes to be an electrical engineer.
I have so much more knowledge. My knowledge is massive and huge compared to even an above average electrical engineer for example.
