    AFAICT, B&N's 3G is strictly for buying books from them. I only spent a few minutes at a kiosk with one, though.

    Amazon promises free 3G Wikipedia access, and so far allows full web access (as far as you can go with a pokey browser, anyway). With the new model's improved browser, I have to wonder how long Ma Bell will put up with that.

    The bit I really didn't like about the B&N, though, is that your documents are shunted off into a separate list from B&N bought books. What are you going to do, make 2 different folder hierarchies for the two castes of books?

    Sony has their new touch screen versions coming out soon. Amazon has recently dropped their price on the Kindle. Let's get these things down to around $100 bucks or less.
