Isn't flashlight to see something, not to be seen ?!
^ Depends, you might use this for signaling. A lot of the generic $5 bike lights are also to be seen by rather than to see... just too dim to illuminate far enough ahead unless you ride really slow.
Got the point about using with bikes. But then you don't need to be seen for miles. You need to be seen at most 100 yards.
