Good for newlyweds. No reviews though, would be a good idea to check it out in store, esp check recycling code for plastic.
I did not know that basic living is that complicated.
I would not say that it's great for newlyweds, but I will say that it's probably great for a college student.
16 piece ceramic set means 2 meals together before you're out of bowls and normal sized plates. At least a college student can go through 4 meals and still be able to eat cereal from the glasses, since those would still be clean since all the beer is from cans or red plastic cups.
#3 I believe that college students don't eat that much. Two cereal bars and one slice of pizza can keep one holding straight for a day. Have you ever gone to college at any point?
If you are in school, this would be a step up from eating out of cans, empty cottage cheese containers or from the box...
But you would have to wash and clean up, instead of dumping it all.
use food as utensils. dry spaghetti can be used like chop sticks and or shishkabob skewers. old hamburger wrappers can be used as paper plates. drink everything straight from the container so cups are never needed. eat with your hands whenever possible. If you absolutely must do dishes offer a free back rub to someone to do them for you. Never did dishes once in college using this proven method.
Best investment I ever made back in college was a few packs of disposable plates and cups. That was back before global warming made everyone insane about conservatism. Then again, the best I ate was the first year in college on the meal plan, it's probably worth the money unless you're trying to lose weight. Best means nutritional, not necessarily tasty.
This set would be good for a college student, if only to not have to spend the time hunting down better separate pieces which'll probably cost more too.
