DVD are finally starting to come down to their actual worth. A few more dollars to around $2 each will be about right.
Hey, #1 -- do you think we can get the price of gas to fall too?
Got milk (lately) ??
This is still Adam West's best movie to date.
Why? It would be much better to let the price rise to European levels ($10+ / gallon). That way poor people would be priced out of the market and off the roads. Congestion would disappear, resulting in faster commute times for those of us that actually matter to the economy, leading to a rise in productivity. Poor people are useless anyway, so let them starve, walk, or take the bus.
It would have the added benefit of encouraging all the smelly illegal immigrants to stay in Mexico where gas prices are kept artificially lower, so we would be killing two birds with one stone, essentially. *smirk*
m0f0 you do know the reason that gas prices are so high in Europe is because 16 out of every 20 dollars spent on gas (petrol), or Euros is you prefer, is tax. However, that tax pays for, in most cases, free at the point of access, universal health care. Thereby freeing European employers of the burden of providing employees health care helping to make them much more competitive than US companies. Good luck trying to buy a Buick or a Dodge in Europe. Equally it also pays for free, with national entry standards, university education based upon actual ability. No "C" grade Yale students there. Giving them a much smarter workforce.....
#5, now we're talking! Those forking Europeans with their ghey football deserve their $10+/gallon gas. That's what they get for being ghey. And who are these smelly illegals you are talking about? The only thing I can smell nowadays is gasoline everywhere I go (parks, roads, house, office, etc). I love it!
And what's this talk of poor people? Don't you mean liberals?
#6 -- "Good luck trying to buy a Buick or a Dodge in Europe."
They actually do have GM products over there. Opel, Saab, Vauxhall, and Bedford.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Europe
Well Europe is not of course a unitary country anymore than England is a country, but people in the US continually seem to think it is.
But CartWheel you are of course correct in what you say regarding your Wikipedai quote. I was just being bad but I always appreciate being corrected in an intelligent manner.
Chrysler was out of the European market for many years being unable to compete successfully. And for many years a lot of people in the UK thought Ford was a British make (it was treated as such officially regarding tarriffs into continental Europe and as regards taxation and parts pricing & insurance). Ignorance is everywhere.
But otherwise #8 you win that part.
strangely enough, despite being comical, #5 has a good idea. of course the poor would just steal the gas at night while you are sleeping (like some ppl are already doing that), so... plan B please
"swear to me!"
I love to see undereducated high school kids prance around on the internet belittling the poor while pretending to be wealthy, productive citizens. Tell me m0f0, does the management at Best Buy get angry when the employees use the demo computers to post on message boards?
Now, if you'll pardon me, I have to shutdown my laptop so I can watch the sunset from the deck of my yacht.
How are you getting wifi out there #12?

A+++ would read again
Good one, bacon!

#17, we mean rich in dollars, not calories
#13 - I have my own private satellite.
#16 - If #5 trys to come after me, I'll just escape in my helicopter from the ladning pad on top of my yacht.
You may ask how I have all these things. After I sold my software company, I made 100 Million dollars. Wait, I mean 1 billion dollars. Yeah, that sounds better.
I have to go now. It's hard to type and drive my Lamborghini at the same time, especially while my supermodel girlfriend is rubbing my leg.
