I bought the UK version, and it's region 2. I hacked my DVD player to accommodate.

I saw these on cable. The pictures were stunning. I like Blue Planet better though.

I watched this series in High Def, it is stunning!

If you have not watched it, it is well worth getting. If you have an HD TV, then get an HD Version of this show, it is great eye candy and eye opening subject matter.

Stop wasting ppl's time here. Pls post good feedback about deals or the product.

This is a great series. (I already ahve a set) and its cheap. Far cheaper than what I paid at costco, which was already cheap. This would make a good gift.

Saw the series via Netflix and I would highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in wildlife. Would make a great gift for the holidays.

#12, you don't understand subtle analogy of the interconnected syllables of an adequate Haiku as a parallel to the interdependence of life on earth as depicted in this wonderful DVD.
You should waste a little more of your valuable time learning to write, think and observe.

If you haven't seen this in HD, you're really missing out. The footage is incredible. This set is a must have. The cheapest I've seen the HD version discounted is $69, so this is a pretty good deal.

It is an incredible video, but I've seen it in hi-def at least 3 times. I can't imagine wanting to see it enough more times to justify the price in HD DVD.
