Today only. Rock A Deal has the Belkin F8Z630TT04 2.1 AMP iPhone/iPad/iPod Rotating Wall Charger for $9 with free shipping. Normally costs around $18 and up in other stores. Comes with a 4-foot ChargeSync cable, and the charger's prongs rotate 90 degrees to avoid blocking other outlets. Amazon reviews.
Since this outputs USB voltage at a higher amperage, there should be no reason why it can't be used as a cheap alternative to a Kindle Fire high output charger, right? Kindle Fire charger block puts out 9W @ 1.8A, this puts out 10W @ 2.1A. But it's half the price.

Anyone know any reason why it wouldn't work?
I don't but would be interested to know if this would with a Kindle Fire.
