What devices does the Belkin Network USB Hub support?
Answer
The Belkin Network USB Hub was designed for printers and mass storage devices; however, most USB devices work on the Network USB Hub. High-speed isochronous devices (such as high-definition web cams and video docking stations) may not be compatible with the Network USB Hub. Other devices that are supported by the Belkin Network USB Hub include iPods, as well as most standard webcams, keyboards and mice, multifunction machines, scanners and media readers.

Well now. So it works with most webcams, etc. Most USB device servers (Silex, Keyspan, etc!) don't support isochronous stream at all! This might be worth a try if you're building a home video security system on the cheap. Park the hub out front with a couple cameras plugged into it, ship the data back as USB protocol, let your surveillance box think the cameras are plugged directly in, so the software is nice and simple...
#1, except that it must be plugged directly into your existing wireless router/AP to make it "wireless". There's nothing wireless about this product except the marketing.
I already have a wireless USB hub...it's called my Full Tower PC Case. That is about as wireless as this lying piece of dung. Someone should contact the FCC about the false advertising...I would, but I cannot seem to spell FCC.
