    works better than the flat ones, allows air flow under laptop

    Got another type and it didn't work well at all. I doubt this one works any better, as there is only one fan and it may not match the air opening of your laptop.

    I agree with Cpotato33. I've had this for a few months now and the thing started to die on me in a few weeks. The fan sometimes makes unbearable sounds and you have to pound it to make it quiet down. There are probably much better cooling devices out there, although $12 is a very good price for a cooling stand...

    Does anyone have suggestion of a cooling pad for Acer Aspire AS5738Z-4111 NoteBook 15.6"? I got this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002NU5V4A/ref=oss_product) from Amazon and it was not wide enough and would not hold on to the notebook. Thanks.
