I actually bought one of these from costco last week for about the same price without the rebate. I'm not too pleased with this though, the construction is cheap, it's not very sturdy and makes lots of creaking noises due to the cheap plastic legs. Also this thing is loud as hell. I bought this because my antec cooler finally died from my abusing it but the antec cooler is much better than this. Save your money and get something good. This belkin one does cool well though, it's just way too loud and cheap.

Your other option is just to get some fan control software (usually free) and make sure your computer is riddled with viruses and junkware. I turn my internal fans on early, and the laptop stays cool and quiet unless I'm transcoding video or something ridiculous like that.

I use fan control on my laptop, still doesn't help as well as having a cooler
