These are normally twice that price but Belkin got purchased by Razer and now all the new pads are rebranded. These are probably surplus that Razer would just as soon not be on the market.
I've owned one of the non-Tournament edition n52s for a long time. Basically the exact same thing but without the LEDs and with a slightly different D-pad. Not the highest quality piece of hardware I've ever owned (after years of use the D-pad is starting to squeak, the thumb button next to the D-pad sometimes registers multiple inputs per press and the wheel has never been responsive enough for regular use), but I use it for virtually every game I play. It's comfortable and it really does its job.
In fact, I'm in for one of these. This $35 is half the price you'll find it for anywhere else and the old N52 is getting a bit worn out.
I agree with mr. lobster. I own 2 of the N52 version. I recently bought a Logitech G13 and have been using it, but the N52 was used for nearly every game.
I use it now for the keyboard input on my Eagle Eye controller on my PS3.
I have a 5 year old N52, plus a brand new N52 in box still. Is this TE any better to warrant getting the Tournament edition, then ebaying the nib N52?
