    I don't have a Facebook account and don't plan on ever getting one. Is there an alternative entry method for non-Facebook folks? Kinda discriminatory if not, don't you think?

    Facebook is funny. You'll come across profiles of people you don't know, and they hid the content from strangers, so you send a friend request from an empty account and they accept it because they want to look popular, thereby letting strangers look at the content they wanted to hide from strangers.
