PC Richard's usually sells at MSRP but bargains can be had. The problem is, you need to haggle like crazy. If you can decipher the SKU, you can see how much a salesperson's commission is on an item so you know what base you can work from. They have stores all around the NYC/NJ region and their return policy is usually ok. I bought a TV from them back in '98 and maybe 1 or 2 small items since mostly out of convenience. They're ok but not for you ghetto dogs here.

PC Richard is savior to NY NJ residents. Their prices are unbeatable and their salesman are friendly and knowledgeable.

Disregard #8's bogus comments. When I lived in NY, they sold at retail, unless you tried to haggle. PC Richard is best for just getting a visual on products you might be interested in. I would never buy from them, myself, unless they changed their sales policies.

While they have shown some signs of having legitimate sales, they will more than make up for that by pushing extras or excessive delivery fees. That was my experience up until about a year ago when I was in the area.

      Panasonic 50" 16:9 Flat Plasma TV TH50PX60U = $1889

This has been under $1000 according to nextag. Not sure how to read that. Could have been refurbs.

if you're planning to buy from them, ask about their return policy. When I was looking at TVs, they told me the only way they'll accept a return is if the item is damaged.

you do have to haggle with them. really not worth the hasstle. just go to Circuit city or Best buy.

#13 Just search Google for TH50PX60U . Click on the Nextag link. Their price history chart shows it was below $1000, but they don't say where. Looks like it might have hit $800 according to the chart. Are the prices legit? Can't say.

#18 I haven't honestly been watching prices that long, and couldn't say what's probable or improbable. It does seem like the prices are plummeting.
