this is an interesting product. does it have software with it that needs the mouse to work? i guess i am asking, can you unplug the mouse and put another one in and the computer would work?

I remember reading reports that they are pretty easy to beat using common things like tape, etc.
Useless for corporate environments. It can't log you onto your computer automatically.
i saw on mythbusters that these finger print things aren't that great.

A microsoft biometric device (not combo with a mouse) I had from almost 2 years ago did that.
how reliable and durable is this product, i'd hate for it to break and not allow me access to my computer.
