My cat used one of these and locked me out of my computer....
#19 if it breaks, you unplug it and authenticate to your PC the normal way and type your user/password.
control freak!
This looks like a really good product, I would definitely get one of these since it isn't that expensive, but has anyone tried this before?
It sounds cool at the beginning, but you will be tired of it very soon. I had a microsoft one, thrown it away just a few weeks after using it.
#21, that is very funny!
what programs acutally use this?
I can't say much about this product, but i bought the microsoft fingerprint reader long ago and its a POS. first, it'll only work on microsoft products so no mozilla firefox, then also it doesn't register half the time. It's more for glamour than efficiency.
When these things can read my DNA, and match it to my genome sequence stored by Google to verify my identity, then maybe I'll buy one, or maybe I'll run for the hills, who knows.
I saw the same thing on Mythbusters. But how many people do you think will want to break into your laptop that badly to go through that much trouble. I would think this would be fine for most people.
I wonder if this works for macs.
