socket 478 doesn't support dual core. this is an old ass motherboard. u can get a new one for like $100 so this is totally not a deal

What a bunch of corn holers you are! slam the old 3.2 ghz processor you aren't using in this, add the 2GB ddr2 you already bought and aren't using, radeon hd 2600 you already have, old 500GB HD, PS and case from your closet and you have a decent HTPC.

DDR2 you already have = Free
HD2600 Video card you have = Free
Old HD = Free
Old case from your stash = Free
Old PS you got for free = Free

except with all of those things in your closet you might as well have just bought an amd dual core and a cheap motherboard for 60 bucks and gotten twice the htpc for your money.
