i like my gasoline powered chainsaw. it's cordless. has about 5x the power.

I have a gas powered chain saw, but the pole saw I have for trimming large bushes and average trees is a B&D battery operated pole saw. Yes... with only one battery, it would be pretty much worthless. But since I have five, and will soon have seven, it is a pretty good add to my arsenal.
I don't know that a battery operated chain saw would be a welcome add, but if I had a two minute job that needs a chain saw, I would be open minded.
Probably nearly useless on trees but if you replace the cutters with rubber tongues the old lady might like it..
#5 - Just to add to my earlier post, The pole saw I have is very effective on 1 ~ 3 inch limbs. I have no doubt the B&D chainsaw would be okay with the same. But larger pieces I would choose to use my gas chain saw.
Just saying...
