What kinda wussy makes a mere 5 cups of coffee? It's not "perfect pour" either, to get the last 1/2 cup out you have to hold down the carafe flap so it doesn't swing out due to gravity.
Does it make decent coffee? Non-applicable, any generic product that can heat the water enough to vaporize will have same result, given same coffee grind.
In summary, if you are single, maybe it's the right size. Then again, I never found it a problem to put less coffee or water in a 10 / 12 cup maker either, and being slightly larger they are build a little better if only due to tubing, element, factors,.
All I'm sayin' is, $20 is ok but not such a great deal when full sized makers can be this low when discounted.
