This works great for car tires, bike tires, etc. You set the pressure you want, and it automatically turns off when it reaches that pressure. The cords and air line coil into the housing. $35 is a good price, it was $42 plus tax at my local Fleet Farm.
Perfect for #3's blow up doll collection.
Ooooh ooooh really??? I'm in for 69 of these and the other kind of 69 with my boyfriend australopithecus!!!
This deal blows...
By the other kind of 69, do you mean, limit (10-13)∫2X dx?
I had a hand pump and foot pump for years then got a little emergency power pack inverter light compressor allinone thing that sucked. Next I got a relatively similar sized (to the B&D) Sears inflator that was much better than the allinone but still pretty poor, slow at a typical car tire and terribly slow with my truck tires. It lead me to a bit more research about what's out there and my conclusion was the following.
There's a vast gulf of difference in portable air compressors. Basically you have an important choice, do you get the very whimpy type that can also run off an included AC-DC power source, do you get the moderately capable version that runs off an automobile lighter outlet, or the studly version that has to run off jumper cables to the car battery. Of course I'm ignoring the other option which is a regular air compressor with a tank on it.
In the middle and higher class of portable inflators the best value (AFAIK) are products made by "Q Industries" and available at some autoparts stores like Pep Boys (often with rebate), various places on the web like Amazon.com, and sometimes discounted on eBay.
Q Industries has some overlapping model names for what are virtually the same product but the old and newer version (very little difference). Because of this I list multiple products in same category.
Middle Class (lighter outlet powered)

Remember that being Amazon links, searching around their site may find same thing at lower or higher price. Right this moment the MF-1052 at amazon has a good price at $52 delivered, http://www.amazon.com/Industries-MF-1052-MasterFlow-Q-Maxx-Compressor/dp/B000NCO6D2/ref=s14?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1201302365&sr=1-4
If you're wanting more equivalent performance to this Black & Decker, actually slightly lower performance but closer to the B&D than the middle class above, there are these two series,

34.98 at lowes. Good product.
Not sure if I can use it to blow my fireplace...
If it's same price @lowe, then how is it a deal by saving the tax difference?
it costs 25cents at a gas station for air
I need to get one of these for my collection of bouncy castles and christmas lawn ornaments
I bought pumps like this before and the cord always too short or too this or too that.
Anyway, I finally got a booster pack for $50 with AC inverter / airpump / light and it can boost my car too. Now this is a better investment for me. Still I hardly use my booster pack. Emergency only.
Price went up, it's now 50 bucks!
