Got one, the parts are all plastic including the end that is attached to the tire. You have to be careful and delicate putting it on and getting it off the tire.

#2: For light use it is okay so you don't have to pay for air at the gas station and convenience, but don't expect it to hold up to heavy use. It does fill tires quicker than other cheaper tire inflators.

This is similar in performance but cheaper and has a brass coupler, although it is DC lighter outlet powered instead of AC mains powered:

... or step up to the next higher model which is powerful enough you can't even power it from a cigarette lighter, requires included cable clamps directly connected to the battery.

Sometimes Pep Boys puts the first one on sale for closer to $20, or maybe it was a rebate involved, I don't recall which.

^ Cheap inflators tend to take forever and wear out quickly unless the most demanding thing you'd ever inflate was a beach ball, bicycle or wheelbarrow tire... and you can't seat a tubeless tire on a rim without a certain amount of CFM though even this product and the ones I linked have a hard time doing that.
