For $20 more you can get a real electric chainsaw that'll cut 20" diameter branches, but this is a lot safer.
I bought this about a year ago and I love it. It is lighter than a chain saw and is so much safer! I've gotten a lot of use out of it and I do have a gas powered chain saw that I use only for big jobs. Strongly recommend it.
