Great price on a 400gb SATA. But is it worth getting up early and fighting the crowds? Need to balance this against other shopping.

15 cents a gig for that 400 gigger. I'm in for one of those.

If you can not even find the Black Friday Specials on the web site that is a hint you are slow and should just stay home. You are probably a hazard on the roads anyway unless you are riding in the back of the short bus.

not a big deal, but i wonder if it's sata 1.5 or sata 3.0

regardless, it's worth the ~20 you're saving, especially if you want to get a few for raid purposes.

I'm not sure about Western Digital drives. I haven't used it myself, but I've only been hearing negatives about its HD's.

BestBuy is selling Seagate 320GB SATA HD also for $60 on BF. I think I'd rather compromise the price with a much better brand. I heard rumors the "made in Singapore" ones would last longer

Is anyone aware how that GPS unit compares to other units, like Garmans'? I'm in the market, and it looks like a decent price for a new unit, but I don't recognize it.

you don't recognize the tomtom one? or tomtom one 3rd edition?

tomtom one is one of the best gps units for the price, almost always rated best value.

no text to speech, but you'll never find that in this price range. radio shack has it for 10 bucks more if you don't want a huge line on fri.

#17, you're right. I don't know how Radio Shack stays in business...whenever I go in, I'm one of 3 people. The sales guy (normally wearing a 'Marvin' name tag), the "Manager" and me. They still sell rabbit ears for TV...swear to Gawd. Not even HD ones, just the standard, wrap them in tinfoil rabbit ears...
