How does the Sony VAIO laptop at BB compare with the Dell Vostro a few listings ago? Worth trying to deal with the BB crowds on BF?

That is a good price for the Samsung. I have this TV. The picture is excelent in dynamic mode but I am not impressed with the standard and movie viewing mode. Only downside in dynamic mode is shadows during dark scenes.

The sansa is $38 every day at Walmart.

Edit: This could be the 1gig version at Walmart. Not positive....

The Samsung would be nice but with only 10 per store the odds of snagging one are not too high. I think one would have to stand in line from about 6pm Thursday evening to have a chance. Not worth it to me. I think a 47 inch 1080p Vizio refurb is about the same at onsale.com. The 37 inch 1080p JVC at Sams is $1000 and seems to have a nice bright picture.

Whoa I know that they are supposed to have a 14" Gateway with good specs for $629. If that is available online on Thursday I am all over it.

Austrolapithicus and NorthSouth will be too busy 69'ing each other for this deal.

These are terrible deals. Best Buy, you have outdone yourself in the crappiness department yet again.

What's with BF this year? There aren't any really good deals. There are decent deals, but nothing that I would want to lose sleep and deal with crowds over.

Snagging any of the deals is easy. You just need to line up between 12-3am and you should be one of the first people in line.

Actually, I hate black Friday deals. I did stand in line once (for about an hour outside Staples) to snag a cheap laptop once. I guess the savings was worth it. There was this guy in front of me that was looking to buy a cordless phone for like $20 (regularly $30). Talk about a waste.

Nice of Best Buy to make their employees work on Thanksgiving. Of course, on the other hand, perhaps they deserve it since they were stupid enough to make the decision to work for such a poor company. *smirk*
