Hotness UNHOT
BestBuy apparently jumped the gun, as many of their Black Friday specials (non door-busters) are available online right now. Free shipping on many select items, but they no longer offer general free shipping. In-store pickup to avoid shipping charges.

Is it just me? I'm just not "feelin' the love" for this year's Black Friday. Doesn't seem like the deals are as good or as plentiful this year. Seems like the one or two deals worth buying are sold out instantly. Am I just getting pessimistic?

No, you're not pessimistic. After having just looked thru BB's black Friday ad, I'm definitely underwhelmed! The only deal I might've been interested in was the 17" lcd for $80, but it's already sold out!
Typical BF ad.anything worth getting is gone before you can even find out it's a great deal!

Is the Samsung LCD for 800 a good deal? I've been waiting to buy an HD LCD and this looks like it could be the opportunity I've been waiting for.

I'm in for the Samsung 32". I'm going to cancel the 599.99 Sceptre 32" I had ordered from costco.com. $200 is worth it for a way better TV, and they offered free shipping. Thanks a lot.

I'm in for the Yeti inflatable chair. OMG, the most coolest thing ever, I wish I could afford 12 of them to use as my dining room set!

lousy deals everywhere! How depressing...guess i wont stand in line at 5am and freeze my butt off. If anyone wants a big tv, i saw walmarts website advertises an rca 52 inch screen tv for around $500 even though it wasnt advertised in the local flier.

I just ordered the Samsung 32. Hope it's worth the extra dollars. One of the main reasons was the reviews for Samsung LCDs were mostly good and also the LCD has 2 HDMI inputs compared to 1 that most have.

It will be worth it, $200 for the difference between no-name and top brand name (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic IMHO) plus better features. Over the life you plan to have the TV what's $200 right?

I would like one of those laptops but 5am is too early for me....by the way the ones that say soldout online are the ones that are on special in the stores.
