Does it have a "downgrade to XP" button?

should work just fine for xp. xp just doesn't support the extra button like the color one.

Okay, I'm in for one. It seems to be about the cheapest way to get an IR receiver for my non-MCE XP machine. I'll probably convert the functionality over to my Harmony 550 if it's possible.

    Thanks Ben.

I've received mine this morning via USPS; xPCgear.com made quick work of my order! I was very pleasantly surprised.

Now, however, I'm having a 4ell of a time attempting to get this unit to work on my non-MCE XP Pro machine. Yes, yes... it was indeed intended for Vista, but it took a couple of hours just to find and download drivers that would recognize the transceiver. After that fiasco, the remote is still a useless brick for me. Suggestions?
