My daughter dropped the remote I ordered from these guys and it quit working. I opened it up and the IR LED had broken off the circuit board. I was able to do some emergency soldering to get it working again but it may be a matter of time since the traces were broken when it popped off. Some silicone glue would have held the LED in better, costing all of 1 cent.
These remotes are junk. Buy the Adesso ARC-1100 for about 10 bucks less and you won't look back. It has more features (such as a mousepad on the remote to move the cursor) and and works perfectly with Vista MC.
