A surprisingly low price that youll make us click the link to find out, eh? You must be getting a lot for each click on this one if you want us all to click it.
edit:
The price is $149.99
Just $149, eh? Interesting...that's the same price it would cost me to upgrade from my AT&T Blackberry Curve to the iPhone.
Sorry, RIM, but making the Storm a Verizon exclusive cost you my business.
#2, why do you care about Storm so much? It has mixed reviews. I bought a 8820 and am quite happy, your mileage may vary, of course.
Same for Apple. I would of bought the Iphone had it been available on Verizon. So I have the Storm, and I like it.
Did making the iPhone an AT&T exclusive cost them your business, too? Apparently not.
Surprisingly good price??? I hope this is not the beginning of a trend where we have to click through to the sponsor sites just to see whether the deal is good or not!
#6 Just browse to the site yourself (vs. clicking on the link) and report the price back here if it bothers you enough.
ben, if you're testing the waters on another new low for your site and looking at the comments for opinion, i am outraged. your site is getting closer and closer to worthless.
Ben is getting greedy
#3,
Overall I like my Blackberry but would like to get something fully touchscreen. I'm not going to change providers and opt out of my contract early just to get a new phone. I'm happy with my AT&T service and don't wish to change. And I'm not going to go through all that unlocking bullshiat, because I don't need a voided warranty, either.
#5,
No, douchenozzle, because I'm already an AT&T customer. All I need to do is pay the upgrade fee and renew my contract, which is perfectly fine by me because I like the service I have, and believe it or not, my voice/data plan will actually be cheaper with the iPhone.
Heh. $599 without a new account.
Could the price not display here because it varies by the location of the service subscription? Hence the need to enter zip code?
no ben's just a weiner.
weiner or weener? both
BLASPHEMY! You do not disrespect Ben here!
seriously is it weiner or weener? cuz now i'm confused.
If it costs a click for the deals to keep Ben's running and to keep the deals coming through, then so be it. The value of the site is that it's a deal portal. A click doesn't change that. I would caution that it's a slippery slope between a click and having to enter in any serious information for the purposes of the traffic converting (to $$) for Ben.
I'm a Blackberry man but GSM is the way to go. I know they call it a "world phone" but I want to be able to slip a new temp gsm card in my device at will. And I wanna be able to change my device by moving my sim card from one to another without having to waste a lunch hour heading to the Verizon store.
Verizon and Sprint's networks/service/pricing don't kick AT&T's arse enough to justify not having that kind of device portability.
#12 - now you are being just too logical and smart. I don't know how you ever passed the screens Ben put up to purposefully keep intelligent opinions from being expressed on this site.
Wirefly.com, I'd avoid purchasing from them based on my past experience. I purchased a Moto Q when it first came out with the enticing rebate offered at the time. As usual I had all my paperwork in order for every requirement to get the rebate processed. In the end they shafted me rejecting my rebate with a general vague reply saying "you did not meet the requirements for the rebate".
So all in all, take precautions with any enticing offer from wirefly.com because in the end you'll end up paying for it. As for the Verizon Blackberry storm I think that phone is good, verizon service is great but verizon tends to disable features on phones in general and make you purchase layering services that tack on fees.
Really #17?? Sprint's pricing doesn't justify that kind of device portability?
How about $99 for unlimited calling?
Want to add unlimited text - still $99.
How about unlimited email - still $99.
Unlimited internet, too - still $99.
Don't forget unlimited turn by turn voice navigation - still $99.
Let's throw in unlimited instant messaging - still $99.
How about unlimited picture mail and video mail - still $99.
But what if we make the phone a Blackberry? - still $99.
Do they have a Blackberry with Direct Connect? Sprint does...
...and it's still, yep you guessed it - $99.
And all that with AT&T? A whopping $170 per month. That's $1680 MORE over the course of a standard two year contract. Enough to by a 50" TV!!
So go ahead #17, use your AT&T service because you can "switch phones easier." The rest of us will go with Sprint's value pricing and our 50" TV.
BTW- You don't have to spend your lunch hour at the Verizon/Sprint store, just go to their website and swap your phone. TOOL.
