Today only. Sears has the Bow Rake with Fiberglass Handle for $5 with free in-store pickup only. Features a 14 tine steel head, fiberglass handle and plastic end grip.
Fair enough, a torque wrench is a wrench but you didn't write "torque wrench". That is an exception rather than normal for their wrenches and other hand tools, those and calipers are subject to precision measurement devices standards so the warranty isn't lifetime.
Even Snap-On doesn't give a lifetime warranty on their torque wrenches for precision and theirs costs more so who are you going to buy one from?
Regardless, I have taken back Craftsman gardening tools as recently as last year and received a replacement. Sometimes it was an equal quality tool (same model) and other times they had discontinued the model I had so I received the new model but either way it was warrantied for life.
Edit: On August 2nd of this year they changed their policy on Lawn & Garden Hand tools. It was lifetime but now it is 25 years with receipt or subject to vary per tool. I consider 25 years to effectively be a lifetime for most garden tools but regardless you are right Ragman, it's not actually lifetime anymore for those.
Note that even on this revised warranty info page, there are still a lot of their tools with lifetime warranty:
I'm still looking for a $5 Hoe
You might want to spend a little bit more on a hoe. A $5 hoe can create more problems than it solves...
It's nice to see Sears offering these large discounts on common gardening items. Definitely not a heavy duty rake but a deal at $5.
This time of year you might need a leaf rake instead, $7 or $13 for one with the Craftsman lifetime warranty,

@dave_c; Not all craftsman products have lifetime warranty, hardly any. Hand tools yes, ratchets no, so I would suspect that a rake does not.
^ Where are you getting this info? Most (non-power tools) do, Craftsman ratchets do have lifetime warranty as do Craftsman branded garden tools.
This rake is not Craftsman branded so no lifetime warranty, as with the first leaf rake I linked but the 2nd one does have lifetime warranty.
Actually no. I took a Craftsman Torque wrench back broken, they said read the fine print.
Then sold me a $11 insert to fix it, which broke again.
So sorry, you are wrong.

The need for a receipt eliminates millions of people from replacing broken tools.
Judging by the clothes on your avatar, it looks like you're ready to go to a $5 Hoedown.
