I have these with the stand, but I purchased at Costco. I have owned for 18 months, and I am very satisfied with the performance. However, if you are a grunter who like dropping weights, these are definitely not for you.

Love the design of these, but they cost a bit more than I would like to spend. The lower priced version is too light for me. Someday. Smile

agree w/#2 - they had these at a hotel where I stayed and some of the plates didn't work because the little piece of metal that clicks them into place was bent.

i would pick these up, b/c a set of them would be nice, but for $300 you can get an entire home gym with benchpress, legpress, row, etc....

Yup, unless you live in my mom's closet you probably have the 4 square feet needed for a proper rack and individual weights so you don't have to fool with selecting different weights. Even with this set you'll probably end up spacing them shoulder width apart for easier use so you didn't really save much space at all except vertically. $270 + S/H is way too high.

This is one of the lamest "black Fridays" I can remember?

About the only deals I saw were at Best Buy and CompUSA and good luck getting on it when the only have a few in stock...

    Anyone agree?

#14 check out the Weider 31xx series. Does just about everything, offers up to 175lbs I believe, and it's resistance based.

For those who have used it, does it feel solid when you are lifting or do the weights jiggle around?
