We have a set at home. They don't jiggle. They are actually a lot more convenient than I expected although I don't know if they are worth $270. We paid less for the lighter version.

The lighter set is fine for my wife. Obviously not meant for serious lifters.

I like the concept...sounds GREAT. But that price is just too much.

I rather go pay $15 a month at LA Fitness then buying that bowflex. You can do alot of exercises with that, but i rather go to the gym and look at girls working out.

The average guy will probably not find 52.5lbs each enough to do almost anything but curls (and yeah that is quite a bit to curl). If you plan on doing any presses (chest, shoulder, etc) you'd almost surely need more. Best bet would be to get a free trial membership at a gym to test all the machines/free weights and decide what you need and buy accordingly.

These'd be nice if they went to 100 lb's each. Go price individual dumbells, not a bad price when compared to a set of dumbells from 5lbs - 50 lbs. Not too mention how much less room these take up compared to a full set of dumbells.

These are bulky and awkward, but if you like them I'm sure you can find a used pair cheap on ebay
