Funny how many of these things sell for new and magically "reappear" on Craig's list a few months later. Good intentions, meet American sloth...

I've been wanting a pair of these. It's a steep price, but if it replaces a decent-sized rack of cast iron dumbbells, I think it MAY be worth it... Craigslist, here I come!

I have the previous generation version of these and haven't had any issues. Works well if you do P90X and don't want multiple weights laying around.

This new version was beefed up to keep the weights from falling off. However, if you drop these on the floor or set them down on something other than their resting tray, the locking mechanism will get worn and will eventually fail. For the price you pay, you would think better engineering would prevail.

You should also consider the stand. I think Sports Authority has them for approx. $180. But, go check your local Sears. I walked in and bought the floor model for $30.
