In for one, need to workout
Bowflex makes the best compact home gyms. I love my Ultimate model and tried MANY alternatives. They all sucked. Free-weights are best, but these units are great if you don't have much space.
Based on my experience, I think it's better to first join a gym and see if you can develop the discipline and consistency needed to exercise for the long term. Once you got that, then it makes sense to get home equipment because you can use it to supplement and even replace the gym, and actually use the gear for its intended purpose instead of a clothes drying rack.

These do work well and mine is about 9 years old. The weighted sit-up exercise especially WILL remove weight from your gut in 30 days. But like most gyms, they are only effective if you actually use them rather than just stare at them.
How long do the bands last before they need to be replaced? And can you get additional bands cheap anywhere?
How many clothes hangers will this unit hold?

Great device to collect dust and take up space in your house or garage.
Cheaper than a dyson for collecting dust.
I go to the gym to stare at all the hot women working out.
