How much more does the DSL bill come to after taxes and fees? I know RR in our area the price they quote is the price I pay but last time I checked there was at least $10 of fees associated with DSL lines.

do you still have to get TimeWarner basic tele service to get
RR at this price? much like do you have to get telephone
service from AT&T to get DSL?

#3 I don't believe you have to. I have RR but do not have TimeWarner cable, instead I use Directv. I don't know if there is anything in the stipulations though for this discounted price.

#3 Check with Time Warner regarding this offer to be sure, but I also have a 12 month deal on RR Lite for $12.95/mo. and do not subscribe to their TV cable or phone service. (You may also get a better deal on RR if you provide your own cable modem rather than leasing theirs.)

Is the "FREE Wireless Motorola® Cable Modem (after mail-in rebate)" with RR any good?

What exact model is this cable modem?

We got the AT&T 3mbps service for $15/mo about 2 mos ago. You have to call and negotiate to get the best price. These prices on Ben's are not "bargain".

#6 Don't know what model modem Time Warner is offering free after rebate, but the modem I bought is a Motorola Surfboard (SB5120) and when the technician installed my RR Lite, he mentioned that it is the cable modem model they lease to customers who don't have their own.
