I got an HP with pretty much the same specs for $75. Someone told me Brothers aren't as good, though I don't feel like doing the research to back that up. The HP was on sale at Staples. It's been kicking ass for several months.
I can't stand HP printers that are directed at home users because the drivers are gigantic and filled with useless programs. The business side of HP is much better, but I've really been impressed with my HL-2140 (similar to this one).
I have had this one for a couple of weeks. Very nice. Warms up fast. Wireless connection works every time (XP and Vista machines connecting). Look at the reviews for this one -- they are very positive.
Someone at my office has a HP wired personal laser. Except for the lights on top of the case it looks exactly like this one. I wonder if these lookalikes are rebrands from one manufacturer?
