This printer has great reviews and cheap ink replacement...I'm tempted.

ive had one for a few months. wireless works great. print quality is pretty good too.

dont setup with the disk. install the drivers only. some people have reported difficulty in setting up wireless. plug the printer in with usb or wired network and enter your wireless info. then unplug and the wireless should work perfect.

i think that you cant have more than one connection at a time, and that has caused people problems.

Grab it fast b4 they run out. Great printer. It's wired/wireless/usb printer. Simply awesome!

Oh and forgot, and Newegg is awesome too. Ordered it Wed afternoon, received it Thursday morning.

the wireless is kind of a pain to set up with wpa as in it won't connect at all. wpa2 works great though. maybe it's my router, i don't know, but i'm not a novice at networking. whenever you try to connect, you have to disconnect the network cable, so you have no feedback from the printer about connection status until it spits out a network status page with each attempt (maybe with usb this isn't a problem??)

anyway, this really is an awesome printer once you have it set up. i love being able to put it across the room with no wires running all over the place. doesn't print images very well, but i needed it for txt and it does that great. starts up in no time and reconnects to the network quickly if you need to shut it off, which i hardly ever do. all the lights on the same circuit go dim when it starts up, but that could be the crappy wiring in my apt.

#10, i think that was what i was trying to say about setting up wireless. the wired connection has to be disconnected for the wireless to work.

you can try a couple other things to see if you have properly set up your wireless, like pinging the printer or checking if your router is has it on a list, like 'attached' devices or something.

im also successfully printing to it from a couple of linux machines, using some generic non-brother driver.
