LED printers are suupose to be cheaper to make since therere no moving parts
It's only the mirror (lack of) that doesn't move, the cost difference is not much and the LEDs necessitate having a lower max resolution than midgrade or better laser printers, though I doubt most people will buy a $200 printer for photorealistic output so in most common print jobs it should do fine.
Brother TN210 cartridges are $50 each, takes 1 black and 3 color. If this printer comes with full cartridges rather than just starter units one could profit by buying this item just for toner. The new print drum would be icing on the cake.
#3, go to Staples site and you'll find the following:
"1 Set of Starter Toner Cartridges (BK/C/M/Y)." Starter cartridges are never full.
#3, you can get remanufactured or generic carts for about $140 a 4 pack if not less, but if you just need toner you can get toner refills for around $85 delivered a 4 pack.
