Considering it's no longer uncommon to see monochrome laser printers for $50 after a rebate, this seemed kind of steep to me. (And I noticed that Amazon has a refurbed version for $150: http://www.amazon.com/Brother-HL-5250DN-Refurbished-Network-Printer/dp/B000O7VPH6)

But it does get good reviews, so if you have a small office, it might be a good choice.

While it's true that there are lots of mono laser printers out there for much cheaper, I don't think that they have the same quality as this one. This one *is* a bit steep but holds up very well and does a very good job.
