Great label maker, but comes factory preset to print lots of extra space on either side of the label so you waste tape. read the directions, change the setting, and print just what you need.
Comes with a half length tape. First tape you buy costs about $16 at office supply places. The Cost company big box wholesale store has 4 tapes at less than $40.
I made the mistake of telling my wife about this and she said she wanted one. Then I made the mistake of asking her what she would use it for? Well she wants to label the kids' drinking thermoses!!! Well I hem and haw cause I don't think that's really efficient if that's all she can come up with. Well now I'm in the doghouse. I think(big mistake) I'll fix it by ordering one now two hours later, I mean, how big can demand be, and By Golly, they're all gone. What's the chance this labeler or something as least as good will be on sale before XMAS? If not she's going to label my tombstone with a Permanent Marker!!!
