This is the perfect item for those social situations where you're obligated to give a present but really burp hate the recipient; I am stocking up on these burp because there are a lot of thumbplum that I know and hate.

I have one (but I bought it for myself, so I guess I hate myself...). Not a bad little thing, but the replacement tape is kind of expensive...
I sold these on FleaBay for $19.99 + shipping.
This labeler wastes a 1/2 inch of tape at the beginning & end of the tape.
#3 you can adjust letter size and tape length.
This is a cheap price. I paid about same for the smaller hand held. I hate the keyboard on the one I got which, does not match any type of keyboard. Finding characters is slow and annoying since they are not in an expected location. The hand held also does not seem to have a memory to store common labels.
If this model has a familiar keyboard and memory to store a few labels, it is a good buy. But as #2 says, they make all the money on the tape. Unless you are printing labels all the time, no big deal.
This model does have a qwerty keyboard.

Does anyone make generic and cheaper replace tapes for these?
Cost co has four 1/2 inch tapes for under $40. Only one kind, black type on white tape, but cheaper than anywhere else.
Had nothing to do one time so took up labeling as a hobby. Every single item in my house now has a label on it. I think I will get this and start labeling my neighborhood.

I got replacement tapes on eBay for a good price. Someone should send one to Bernie Madoff so he can label all his cell stuff.
