Through March 21st, EyeBuyDirect is having a Buy One Get One Free Sale for all Prescription Eyeglasses. Shipping is free for orders of $99 or more. Eyeglasses start at $8.
I couldn't believe the quality of the glasses I bought here, comparable to the ones I got from Sam's and Costco. Metal frames are a better bet, in the $25 to $40 range. You can even upload a front-face photo and "try on" different styles and specific frames. Get yer ess down to WalMart and update your prescription. Terrific deal and great service!
I doubt #1 is anything but a happy customer, a few hundred posts and not a lot for eyebuydirect.
Having only two eyes is beside the point, you could get a 2nd pair as impact resistant sportswear, a spare for the car, sunglasses, or just two identical pair so if one breaks you have spare parts.
However, their prices start to rise pretty quickly, IMO too high if you want anything but standard lenses. They "Might" have better service than some eyeglass shops online but there are certainly a few that cost significantly less and have a larger selection of some types of lenses, BUT sometimes service is worth a few extra dollars... your call.

I think #1 works for eyebuydirect.
Note: I have bought from eyebuydirect and am satsified with my purchase but I think #2 is right. #1 needs lessons in shill etiquette.
I only have two eyes and not four so this is no deal.
