#1, it's 80 watts in RMS, and Cambridge doesn't exaggerate their speakers wattages much like others. Unless you want to run this in a big room, otherwise this is pretty powerful for a computer speaker.

Make sure its digital and not analog...difference between night and day.

Logitech z-2300 cheaper and much better.
