This si not a bad entry level camera if you're planning to get into photography.

Can't wait for these thing to come down around $399.99.

I bought the XT instead because of better reviews. But if its anything close, it's an awesome camera

Kit lense is primary... you are going to want a zoom sooner than later.

If you dig you can probably find out whether the photos were taken with the kit lense or shmancy zoom lense.

get it while it's hot. use the money saved to buy a nice piece of glass. i suggest the sigma 20mm/1.8

not a bad deal but with sales tax might kill it.

Good price - just got the Silver XTi kit for $649 including free 1GB CF card, plus a $60 7" digital frame, all from NewEgg. The free frame still shows up at their site...
