Thorough review:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos400d/
DSLR will be replaced by rangefinder DC anyway. Why bother?
When? In 2020? Care to provide a link?
tu madre pesa un monton, grandota. ni me digas cuanto ella puede comer, grandota.
More like 2050.
Is this the same camera for $449 + shipping?

Yes, yes it is. Take the plunge and let us know how that turns out.
#6, i agree with #7, u should do some research before buying from these kind of online stores! here is some info from bbb.org regarding to cicameracity/dot/com:
"...Nature of Business
Consumer complaints against this firm allege non-delivery of ordered merchandise, receipt of unordered goods, difficulty obtaining refunds and/or adjustments, and overbilling for products and services not requested by consumers. This firm has failed to eliminate the underlying cause of its complaints.
Customer Experience
Based on BBB files, this business has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau, because there is a pattern of complaints, and the business has not corrected the underlying reason for the complaints..."
The camera is probably a grey market item. It's common for a lot of these shops in the NYC area to do this. Of course, you can save a lot doing so but you give up your warranty. I don't know this store in particular but returns are usually a hassle. Also, they do a lot of bait and switch. Prices are usually ridiculously marked and you spend tons of time haggling. Don't expect customer service of any type. I wouldn't buy from them unless you live nearby so that you can go harass/complain should a problem arise. Better yet, just avoid. It's not worth the effort.
#9 Doesn't matter... it's like ordering a gray market unicorn... This camera will never get shipped unless you order ~$500+ in worthless accessories along with it. Try it.
Folks, from my own personal experience, if the online electronic "boutique" is located in or around the Bronx, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy it online!
I have this camera and I bought from a place called sunshine electronics I think. They sent the wrong colored body and claimed I ordered things I didn't. The transaction started on eBay, but they required me to call and pay with credit card so they could try and upsell me. This was back in February. If this offer was available then, I would have jumped on it. The camera is great (I think), but stay away from the Bronx electronic stores.

I Always check reselleratings.com before I buy anything online.
You'd have to be a donkey to buy from CCI Camera City. Donkey!
CAUTION! The cci camera city item for $449.00 + shipping is body only!
They offer another item http://www.ccicameracity.com/canondrxtik.html for $559.00 which includes an 18-55 lenbacons this a canon lens or some cheapo?).
And how much is shipping?
Thanks for all the usefull info. Are any of these sites worth buying from? http://www.shopcartusa.com/P_Canon_Digital_Rebel_XTi_(Body_only)_1236B002/PT_Y/?ic_campID=98
