I'm gonna eBay this thing soon in order to fund for an new lens. I like it though, but I need a more versatile lens.

This price is good, because eBay people would charge very close to it for a slightly used or a "like new" one. Adorama is serious, too.

Squid, where did you get that or you invented it by yourself (in order to fool people Very Happy )?

I have one, and it gets used more often than my significantly more expensive super telephoto zoom, not because it is a better lens (dream on!) but because it is so small and light, I don't bother removing it from my camera bag.

#1's comments (straight from Adorama) is pretty much what I think about this lens. If you occasionally need a telephoto for close-ups, this is a great value.

Go for it, #4. You *will not* regret it. Between L glass and the extra light f/2.8 gives, if you're serious it's a no-brainer.
