I bought an Xsi just before I found out the T1i was coming out. I'd have gotten this one instead. This camera is the little brother of 5D Mk II with higher ISO, better LCD displace and higher megapixel. Too bad that it doesn't do auto focus on the video. I hope the next version will do that and make it 30 fps on 1080p just like the 5D Mk II.

For those on a smaller budget and don't need digital SLR, The SX1 is nice too. It also does 1080P video, has 20x optical lens, and 4fps continuous photo shooting, face detection, etc. Enjoy!

Nikon HAVE stepped it up a notch. I'll pit my D90 (with HD video) against this guy anyday.

Great #7...except your D90 (body only) is $949 on NewEgg. Throw in a comparable image stabilized lens and it's well over $1000.

so uh...this kicks your D90's ass for quality/price ratio.

NIKON just came out with a new one the D5000 a little cheaper than the D90 does the same stuff has a fold down screen and I think it is better than cannon. I just sold my xti and replaced it with the D5000. Very happy with it.
