Thanks to the radical dude who told Bensbargains about the latest Canon refurb deals! What a cool bro'.
so what are my saving when I get a refurbished between a this and a brand new T1i again Ben?
The new version is pretty much $650 at most retailers (inc. Amazon). Remember the refurb gets a 90-day Canon warranty, actually the same one on new cameras & lenses. So that's a 21% discount.
We might see the T1i prices dip (big maybe) since Canon's T3 line is coming out in March. But frankly, the T3 is an XS replacement (low-end) and the T3i is a T2i replacement. The T1i is a one-of-a-kind.

Why pay $516 for a refurbished Canon that will be 2 generations old with the release of the T3i shortly when you can get a Nikon D3100 which is a new release and blows the pants off the T2i and still looks better than the T3i specs (not much is changing) and can be had for about $560 brand new?
I'm simply stopping by to say I love my T2i. That is all.
The only issue I have with these refurbs is the 90day warranty.
