I didn't see the refurbished in the fine print so I asked chat support:
[Sam] I'm looking at the Canon T2i (Item #: 13649247 Mfr. Part#: 4462B003) is this new or a refurb? [Liz D] It is new [Sam] awesome! excellent price too! thanks!!! [Liz D] Thanks for contacting us. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if we can be of further assistance.
#4 : Really ? I read a lot of rumor about the T4i- They say will probably be a new 24mp APS-C sensor and run a DIGIC 5 processor. However no of them can provide real release day or detail spec. And the new spec for 5D Mark III only shows 22mp. So I really doubt the new T4i can beat Mark III on MP count. However while new product out - it will compress the price for the older model. Like this T2i will be 2 generation old ( if T4i released) and will be on it's way out of market. But if you don't really care about higher MP count- this price/quality is still very good for entry level DSLR camera. And if really T4i will come out soon, we will see more and more T2i deals ( like a few days ago t2i body for $399) Anyway, rumors all mentioned there will be new product release by end of Feb.. So , lets wait and see... And I cannot wait to see 5D Mark III out..
I bought this T2i, body only, when Ben listed it on February 3rd for $400 from Adorama. Now I need a lens for it. Does anyone have a recommendation for lens specs I should look for. I value good indoor low light performance and hope to spend less than $600 for the lens.
#9 I will think Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom can be a good choice for walk around lens. Not the best available but one lens cover most of your need and it is under $600 ( $550 @ Amazon). And if you don't mind fixed focal length lens- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens ( A little over $100) is another low budget ( but pretty good) lens that might worth your consideration..
wow really good deal for a kick ass camera.
Refurbished...buried in fine print

The T4i should be introduced tomorrow or next Tuesday. Clearing out the "dead wood" before the new wood.
Dead wood or new wood, I can't name another DSLR that is better than a t2i at $500.
T2i is just a fantastic camera - we shot this whole piece on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjktDIXJ0K8

agreed with #5. the t2i is a bargain at this price. the t4i will probably be $800+ msrp so whatever upgrade it gets, i doubt it will be $300+ worth.

Sigma 17-50 f2.8 OS HSM is $594 right now. That would be awesome with a t2i.
The Canon 50mm F1.8 II an awesome starter lens. No IS or zoom, but sharpness and low light performance can't be beat.
Ben: Maybe you should follow the SD and provide more discussion/tech support forum. That might help you attract more visitor..
