Its really just okay. the 70-300mm is not very usable unless you have a tripod. The rest of the accessories don't really matter., because you can get them anywhere like frys.com. If you just want to shoot with auto settings or shoot video, there are some great point and shoots by nikon that cost less. And INVEST that extra $100 is some classes, or you are just wasting time. (and money) If you want to learn photography this MAY be a starting place. I would save for a T3i at least. Snapsort.com & dpreview.com & amazon have great reviews.

Yeah, #4 took three years of photo classes so he could learn how to take cool pictures of himself. You could never get shots like that using cheap point and shoot stuff...

Is the T3 is good camera capable of taking amazing picture? Yes
Is this deal a good deal for the T3? Yes
Would it be a good idea to save up to the next level camera like the T3i for $100-200 more? Maybe.

With the T3i you're getting a little better img quality, articulated lcd, 4x higher resolution lcd, much more advance video function including mic input, better build. Personally I hight recommend u save up the extra $1-200 to get a t3i.

None of them are worth the money compared to the new & much smaller ILC cameras that are available now.
