This is one awesome camera. Too bad I'm a Nikon user. If I'm looking to buy a first DSLR I would jump all over this deal.
@ Ghost Rider 5D Mark III should be bad ass. I'm waiting for the Nikon D800 myself. Should be VERY soon.

#3: I know- that why I plan to skip 7d and go for 5D mark III. I can also upgrade my point & shoot camera Canon G12 to G1x sine it is coming out.
For the entry level Canon DSLR- I don't like the grip that Canon made- Nikon make it much better. I do suggest go local store and see it, feel it in your hand before make purchase. Otherwise battery grip is available for extra $$
